Photo Journal: Siem Reap

Laying a short ride outside of Siem Reap is the ancient city of Angkor. Although this part of Cambodia is mostly known for the famous Angkor Wat, there are many more temples to be explored. We decided to rent motorcycles and explore this vast jungle complex on our own. We spent 3 days riding around exploring all we could see. What we found was incredible. Temples with jungles growing within, temples that have every wall engraved, and Buddhist monks peacefully taking it all in. You could spend an entire week here and there would still be more to see.

Within Siem Reap there is a life of its own. The delicacies are delicious and the locals are friendly. I spent an entire day walking with no direction seeing what I could stumble upon. The city is noisy and chaotic but special in its own way.

Enjoy my visual diary of Siem Reap.
